PREMIUM  ALL-GRAIN
WORT KIT

The Brewhouse Kit is an entirely new concept in homebrewing. Until now, most homemade beer has been made with concentrated malt extract syrup. The Brewhouse Kit produces all-grain microbrew style beer with the convenience of a kit. Brewed from fresh grain and hops, it is pure all-grain wort, made the same way as commercial microbrewed beers. Gentle handling preserves the delicate aromas and flavors. Crisp Pilsner, rich pale ale, Malty Munich dark lager, full flavored cream ale, luscious stout and even an incredibly light North American lager all show brilliant character.

Fresh grains make fresh beer: The Brew House Kit is made from 100% grain. The grains are cracked just before brewing and gently steeped in water at our custom designed German-style brew house. After the sweet wort is drawn off, it's carefully boiled with generous amounts of hops. Then, without adding water or concentrate, we aseptically package it for maximum flavour and aroma. With our technology, we have total control over every step of the brewing process; we can even do Czech-style decoction mashing, the most technically demanding brewing in the world.

These Kits are real microbrew-style. Sweated over by two certified beer judges—both experienced prize-winning Homebrewers—and a German Quality Control scientist, these kits are as close to the described style as possible. They conform to the definitions laid out by the authorities: namely Michael Jackson and the American Homebrewers Association.

The finished beers taste very close to microbrewed equivalents—if those equivalents are well made!

The kits are designed to satisfy people with a taste for premium microbrewed beers. Not everyone has the time and equipment necessary to scratch brew from grains, but everyone wants to make the best beer possible. With no boiling—just stirring and careful racking—The Brew House will produce great beer in only three weeks!

15 liter Kits produce 23 liters  (6 US gallons) Includes Yeast and Priming Sugar

20570  American Premium Lager - tastes like beer of 1950's North America: flavorful and smooth, with a light refreshing finish. 10 IBU, O.G. 1.044, Centennial Hops $ 42.00
20572  Cream Ale - is a true West Coast Style Beer with darker color and fuller flavour. 22 IBU, OG.1.044, Northern Brewer & Golding Hops. $ 42.00

20574  Honey Blonde Ale- A refreshingly smooth, full-bodied ale with a touch of all natural honey to create a slightly sweet finish. Golden in color, with a rich, soft and round palate, we use pure clover honey to balance the satisfying ale character. 18 IBU. $ 42.00

20576  IPA -  The beer was brewed with a higher alcohol level, and higher hopping rates to preserve the beer on its journey. The beer was a success in India, and "IPA" as it came to be known, caught on in England as well and a new beer style was born! Our India Pale Ale has a copper/golden color with a slightly higher starting gravity 1.053 and Centennial hop rates than our regular Pale Ale with medium aroma hops. 50 IBU. $ 42.00

20578  The Mexican Cerveza - Crisp and refreshing. The finish is dry and the hop profile has the same distinct aroma as that famous clear bottled Mexican brew. OG. 1.044, 10 IBU $ 42.00
20580  Munich Dark Lager - Since the mid-19th century this dark beer has been brewed in the Bavarian city of Munich. Our version is characterized by a delicate sweet maltiness and a toasted nutty flavour. OG. 1.055, 20 IBU $ 42.00
20582  The Pale Ale - A beer with roots in the English Midlands, pale ale dates back as far as 1780. Today, it is copied worldwide. Our updated American version is crisp, amber-colored and aromatic. OG. 1.050, 30 IBU, Northern Brewer & Cascade. $ 42.00
20584  Pilsner - The original pilsner was brewed in the Czech Republic in 1842. Now, as then it is known for its generous use of hops. Our medium-bodied, golden pilsner is a clean, satisfying beer. OG. 1.052, 50 IBU $ 42.00
20586  Stout - Brewed since at least 1820, stout is Ireland's gift to beer lovers. Ours is dark and rich with rich chocolaty-espresso finish. OG. 1.044, 30 IBU. $ 42.00
20588  Red Ale - Carmel malty finish $ 42.00

Brewers can manipulate the beginning specific gravity of the Brew House kits by adding less water to the primary. The kits contain 15 liters of high-gravity wort brewed to an .o.g. between 1.070-1.080, depending on the style. When diluted with the full 8 liters of water, the wort's o.g. drops to 1.040-1.055. If you add only 4 liters of water, making 5 gallons the o.g. will be 1.055-1.065 and the alcohol content of the finished product will go up 1-1.5%. Or you can add no water at all. Smaller additions of water would lead to the style changes listed below.

The kits come with either Coopers or Windsor dry yeast, depending upon style.
