S.G. 1051  -- IBUs. 22   5 Gallon All grain (70 Min. Boil) by Mike Emmons

 

    American Pale Ale  

9 Lb. American Pale Ale Malt ( Briess)

3/4 Lb. Carapils Malt

3/4 oz. Cluster during pre-boil @ 7AA

5/8 oz. Cascade (30 min). @ 5-3/4 AA

1/2 oz. Chinook (10 min) @ 13 AA

1/4 oz. Cascade (1 min)

1/2 oz. Willamette (1 min)

1/2 oz. Tettnang (1 min)

16 oz. Wyeast starter from #1056

3-1/2 gallon water

Protein rest @ 128deg.  @15 min.,   Saccarification rest @ 150deg @ 60 min.

Mash out 165deg. 10 min., Sparge 170deg. 60 min.
