Amber hue. Creamy Smooth head with Spicy undertones. This beer is a favorite all year and you can brew it in 80 degree temperatures.
6-/12 Lb. Light Malt Extract
1-1/4 Lb. Belgian 2-row pale malt
1/4 Lb. German 10L crystal
1/4 Lb. Gambrinus Honey Malt
1/4 Lb. German Wheat
3/4 ounce German Hallertauer Hersbrucker Hops @ 3.9 AA (60 Min.)
1/4 ounce German Hallertauer Hersbrucker Hops @ 3.9 AA (10 Min.)
# WLP570 Belgian Golden Ale Yeast
1/2 Whirfloc tablet @ last 15 min of the boil
1-1/4 cup Light DME for Priming
Mash grains @ 150 degrees for 60 min. in 1-1/2 gallons of water. Sparge with 1-/12 gallon water @ 170 degrees. Add the 3/4 oz. hops at start of 60 minute boil. Add the 1/4 oz. hops last 10 min. of the boil. Remove all hops before fermenting
