Beer Ingredients

S.G. 1050  --  IBUs. 24          5 Gallon All Grain         by Steve L. Johnson

 

English Pale Ale 

8-1/2 Lb. English 2-row Pale Malt

1/2 Lb. English Mild Malt

1/2 Lb. Light Wheat

1/2 oz. E. Kent Golding @ 5 AA (60 min.)

1/2 oz. E. Kent Golding @ 5 AA (After 40 min. add)

1/2 oz. E. Kent Golding @ 5 AA (last 10 min. add)

1/2 tsp. Irish Moss @ (last 10 min. add)

1/2 oz. E. Kent Golding @ 5 AA (last 5 min. add)

16 oz. starter - White Labs / London Yeast WLP 013

3-1/3 Mash Gallons  @ 150deg. for  60 min., Mash out @ 168deg. for  10 min., Sparge 4-1/5 gallons @ 170 deg for 60 min.

Boil 6 gallon Wort  to 5 gallons for 60 Minutes following Hops addition times.

Primed with 1-1/4 cup DME.
