Stuffed Bread - Beer Cheese Dip

 

 

1 Tbs. minced garlic

1 Tbs. Olive Oil

2 ea. 8 ounce \ Soft Cheddar Cheese Spread

1 ea. 8 ounce cream cheese

1/3 cup beer

2 Tbs. Mayonnaise

1/2 Tsp. Paprika

1 ea. Un-sliced Loaf Pumpernickel Bread

 

Cook the garlic in the Olive Oil for 2 minutes or until brown. Blend together the Cheddar cheese, Cream Cheese, Beer, Mayonnaise, Paprika. Mix in the browned garlic. Cover and chill 4-5 hours (best over night).  Cut the bread approximately one inch in from the sides at the top and 1/2 inch down. After removing to top, remove the center of bread leaving approximately 1/2 inch sides. Cut the inside bread into one inch cubes. Lightly toast the cubes and use for dipping.

Makes about 3 cups
