Follow the Basic recipe for One Gallon.

  6 Grapefruit

  6 pints  water

  2-1/4 Lb's Sugar

  1/4 - teaspoon Yeast Energizer ( yeast starter food)

  1/4 teaspoon Tannin powder ( for color & aids in clearing)

  1- Crushed Campden tablet ( to kill any wild yeast and bacteria)

  1- Premier Cuvee wine yeast

  Starting Gravity 1.090-1.095

 

Peel and use meat only. For extra flavor use zest of rind, careful not to add white pith.

Grapefruit Juice Wine

Follow the Basic recipe for One Gallon.

 

1-1/2 Pint Grapefruit Juice ( Unsweetened)

1/2 pint white grape concentrate

6 pints water

1-3/4 Lb Sugar

1/4 tsp. tannin

1/2 tsp. dry pectic enzyme

1/2 tsp. yeast energizer

1 campden tablet

1 Champagne yeast
