Pomegranate Wine - One Gallon
6 Pomegranates
1-1/2 cups White Grapes or 1/2 pint of White Grape Juice
6 pints Warm water
1-3/4 Lb to 2-Lb's Sugar or gravity to 1.090 - 1.095
2-tsp. Acid Blend
1/4 - tsp. Tannin powder
1 tsp. Pectic Enzyme
1 tsp. Yeast Nutrient
1 Campden tablet per gallon
Cuvee Yeast
After removing all yellow skin and discard. Cut open the pomegranate and scrape out all the meat and seeds.
Cut the remaining pomegranate into small pieces. Place all the cut pieces and the seeds and meat into a straining bag. Press well to remove all the juice. The remains in the bag will be placed later into the fermenter.
