Fresh Orange Wine - One Gallon
Follow the Basic recipe for One Gallon.
8-9 Juice Oranges
1- Lb Light Raisins
4-Pints Cool Water
2-Pints pre boiled water
2-1/2 LB. Sugar or starting gravity or 1.080
1-tsp. Yeast Nutrient
1 each campden Tablet per gallon
Cuvee Wine Yeast
Zest all oranges, being careful not to use the white pith or the peel. Remove the meat and discard the peel. Pour the 2 pints of the boiling water over the Orange Zest. Let stand until cool or room temp. Drain off and use only the liquid from the zest. Press out well and discard the Zest.
