  Hops

Due to Large Shortages of Hops in 2007

Limited quantities per variety, per order

>> No Pound sales <<

Please call or when E-mailing in your order, please request a second hops for replacement. Most varieties are still available.

Hops are ONLY sold with a minimum of 5 Pound combined Malt. 12/15/2007

A total of 5 ounces of hops many be purchased per recipe order, per week. A limit of 2 ounces per hops is allowed. We reserve the right to refuse excessive ordering or hop only orders.  We may have to stretch our stock for 12 or more months.  This will effect every brewer in the world so please don't fell like we are picking on you. The Home-Brewing industry is at the bottom of the hop chain.

World Hops shortage will mean higher beer prices worldwide for Small brewers.
 F
rom Australia to the U.S. breweries face the daunting prospect of tweaking their recipes or experimenting less with new brews, thanks to a worldwide shortage of this one key beer ingredient. Because of this  foreseen shortage that has been followed for many years, we are now face with the task of trying to cut back and make our stock last to past spring 2008. Yes next year. We hope that breweries will become more responsible in the future and create beers that are not hops extreme.  Because many breweries buy their hops in futures. The 2007 crop is completely sold out as well as the spring 2008 crop. New breweries just starting or planning to open, now face a realization of not having hops. You may have noticed that many retailers are cutting back on the amount a customer can purchase per week or per order. One of the ways to help, is to purchase only what you need, or per the recipe alpha needed.

We can also ship our pellet hops by the 1/8 ounce - Or the AAU or HBU.  Just Let us know what YOU need for your recipe.  Save ..by pre weight our pellet hops for you to match your needs. Order By Number (example Cascade #21118A) or by the Alpha % per ounce needed for your recipe.  New Hops are listed as they come available.

Pricing Note; Due to the disastrous crop conditions in Europe and the US in  2007, Hop pricing is very volatile. We are reserving the right to change pricing without notice as our suppliers make their adjustments.

Please list Hop Alpha Needed for exact amount needed.
