Clean stopper before use for optimal vacuum. Insert the stopper into the neck of the bottle.
Place pump on stopper and commence pumping action.
A click will sound when optimal vacuum is reached. Remove pump and store bottle upright.
To re-open, push cone slightly side-wards to release vacuum, then remove the stopper to pour the wine.
The Vacuum Stopper is made of food approved Thermoplastic Elastomer. Apply some food approved lubricant (like Vaseline) at the inside of the pump's barrel to avoid stiffness. Do not clean the pump under running water ( dishwasher); the lubricant will then be washed out.
